Dr Izzati Nabilah Ismail is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who received her doctoral dental degree from School of Dental Sciences on 2010. She served for the Ministry of Health in Sarawak for 2 years before joining IIUM in 2012. She underwent her specialist training in the University of Hong Kong starting 2013 and completed her Masters in OMFS in 2016. She has extensive hands-on training and experience in managing dentoalveolar surgery cases such as impacted teeth removal, benign excision, dental implants, bone grafting and sinus lifts, and maxillofacial trauma. Her special interest is on orthognathic surgery and obstructive sleep apnea surgery.
She is currently an Assistant Professor at Kulliyyah of Dentistry, with focus in teaching oral surgery for clinical undergraduate students. Her routine clinical teaching includes extraction and MOS clinic, bedside teaching on OMFS cases in the OT and the wards, as well as Emergency department.
For this webinar, the platform used will be Zoom Webinars. This webinar will feature a Q&A session during the last 15 minutes. All attendees will be awarded with certificates.
