Dr Stephen Dsouza earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), India, and went on to complete his Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry with merit from King’s College London, UK. During his studies in the UK, Dr Stephen participated in a research project focusing on tooth wear and the impact of oral health on the quality of life of individuals affected by this condition.

Dr Stephen currently manages two dental practices in Mumbai, India, with one of them exclusively dedicated to aesthetic and restorative dentistry. A firm believer in minimally invasive techniques, he strives to provide the highest standards of care in his specialized field. In 2021, he was nominated for the prestigious “Aesthetic Practice of the Year” award by Famdent India.

An accomplished educator, Dr Stephen has hosted numerous hands-on courses on dental aesthetics, covering both porcelain and composite techniques, and regularly conducts webinars on the latest trends in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

In May 2024, Dr Stephen collaborated with Smile Mastery Sdn Bhd to host his first ever two day hands on workshop in Malaysia. The event was sold out, a testament to his growing influence and the demand for his expertise in the field. He then returned to Malaysia for a second workshop in November of the same year.

Dr Stephen and Smile Mastery have been aligned on their goals for dentists from day one. Both parties have developed a deep understanding for the practicing general dentists’ needs in today’s competitive world.
